Integrations

C2O is designed to sit between incoming order channels and the business systems that hold customer and item data.

Incoming order information

Users can submit order text directly in C2O and attach the source documents that support the request. Deployments may also receive orders through configured channels such as email or chat. When email intake is enabled, the sender must be explicitly allowed by the tenant administrator; domain-wide patterns are not supported.

Business data enrichment

During extraction, C2O can use the configured business-data connection to resolve and enrich information such as:

  • customer code and customer details;
  • item codes, descriptions, and units of measure;
  • customer-specific prices and currency;
  • addresses and contact details; and
  • stock availability for saved order lines.

The returned data is shown on the order for review. A lookup result does not replace the reviewer’s responsibility to check the order against its original sources.

Approved-order export

Approval is a deliberate user decision in C2O. After approval, C2O sends the structured order to the configured external order system. The order’s C2O status records the review decision; the external system may have its own processing or acceptance status.

If export fails or an approved order is not visible in the external system, do not approve it again. Note the C2O order ID and contact your administrator or support contact so the delivery can be investigated safely.

What administrators configure

Connection setup is deployment-specific and is normally handled by your C2O implementation or support team. Tenant administrators can configure the tenant-facing parts of the workflow described in Administration, including allowed email senders, extraction instructions, and validation rules.
