Administration

Tenant administrators can access the Administration section from the navigation. These settings apply only to the currently selected tenant.

Users

Use Users to grant or remove access to the tenant and update a user’s display details. Search by name or email address when the list is large.

Removing tenant access does not remove the person’s access to other tenants or change their account in the identity provider. Do not remove your own access unless another administrator can still manage the tenant.

Order email whitelists

Use Order email whitelists to control which exact sender addresses may submit orders through email intake.

Only complete email addresses are supported. A domain such as example.com or a wildcard pattern does not allow messages from that domain. When an address is removed, messages from that sender are no longer accepted for email order intake.

Custom Instructions

Use Custom Instructions to add stable, tenant-specific rules that guide extraction. Good examples include:

  • a default unit of measure;
  • a required SKU or item-code format;
  • a naming convention; or
  • a consistent default-handling rule.

The workflow is draft-based:

  1. Enter the instructions and select Save draft.
  2. Test the draft with representative order text using the preview.
  3. Select Publish only when the result is ready for new orders.

Saving a draft does not change production extraction. The published version is used for new order extractions. Prompt history shows previous versions and who created or published them.

Avoid instructions that describe one exceptional order or contradict required business rules. Review the preview before publishing.

Validation rules

Use Validation rules to define what must be complete before an order can be approved. Rules can apply to the order, an order line, an address, a contact, or a surcharge.

You can add, edit, enable, disable, and delete tenant rules. Rules marked Required by OCP are managed by the connected order platform and are always enforced; they cannot be changed in C2O.

After changing a rule, review a representative pending order to confirm that the new requirement is understood by the people processing orders.

Access problems 🔒

If Administration is not visible, your account does not have the required tenant administration permission. Ask an existing tenant administrator or your C2O support contact to grant access.
